Usually I balk at calling whatever it is we’re doing here ‘a newsletter.’ But today, I’ve got news and I’m putting it in this letter so…I guess the shoe fits. THIS WEEK IS EXCITING AND I WANT TO TELL YOU THINGS.

I’m going to be doing some spoken word poetry tomorrow night, and I’ve got a lineup of original poems to share with you that I’m pretty jazzed about. Some are from The Shape I Take, others are favorites that have been published, and others still have never been shared before. As in, I wrote them this week and I’ll be testing them in a very public way.
