Hi all!
Just dropping in at the end of this long weekend to first say—how are you? I hope you’re arriving to this evening feeling rested after a weekend of idyllic fall activities, but I know that’s not always reality.
We did enjoy some idyllic fall activities…and we’re also exhausted from them! On Saturday, our friends hosted their third annual Fall Fest, complete with grilled cheeses, hot cider, and an apple pie contest. I also got to celebrate a dear friend’s baby shower. And yesterday we took a gorgeous drive to Western Maine and stayed overnight with some family friends.
We’re back home now and the kids are finally tucked in bed, we’re noshing on some sausage & hot honey pizza, and now I’m thinking of the week ahead and thinking of you, wondering if you’ll be able to drop in to our first ever Office Hours with an Editor session on Wednesday afternoon.
Here’s what to expect:
The office hours will be super laid-back. You can bring any type of writerly question, whether it’s about book proposals, query letters, publishing an article, collaborating with other writers, platform stuff, a request for specific editing feedback, anything like that.
I can’t promise I’ll have all the answers (I won’t) but I’ll share whatever insight & experience I do have.
You are also welcome to come and simply listen & participate, even if you don’t have a specific question in mind at this moment. Who knows—you might learn something new, get some encouragement or inspiration, or, even better, make a new friend.
To come, simply click on the ZOOM link below to enter the room on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. You can come anytime between 1:30-2:30 PM (EST)—whether you’d like to stay the whole time or stop by with a quick question.
