I was literally journaling something similar tonight in frustration of two weeks of sickness throwing life off-kilter and me to the floor. I fight this battle so much in my head with all of life (the reason still elusive, despite the many echoing journal entries over the years trying to pin it down). I loved this reminder that it doesn’t have to be one or the other, success or failure. Your words gave me hope tonight ♥️
Kristi, I'm so glad that it gave you a bit of hope tonight. Being sick throws a whole new wrench into parenting, and it is soooo incredibly difficult. But you're right—maybe it's not a question of success or failure at all, but just the willingness to keep showing up. And that—THAT you do, my friend ❤️ praying so much for you to feel better.

I enjoyed this one! 💜
Thanks Liz! 💕💕
I remember the days of squirming kids in bed, knees and head butts. Seems pretty special now💕. Well written Dee.
I agree—except maybe with the head butts 🤣 those ones hurt.
