Love this so much! Our evenings are often spent relaxing on the couch with ice cream and technology and I feel like while I enjoy the break, I’m bored. I love when we play board games together or do little workout videos on YouTube. And I love creating things with my sewing machine though I rarely do that. I need to set some time aside for creating!
I feel the same way, Reba! Somehow it feels so hard to break the routine. Especially in the winter. But I do find that setting aside the time is so refreshing. I'm always like, Oh yeah, I love this!

I’ve felt so refreshed with the turn of the year and spending less time on my phone/social media and then this week the boys have been sick and I have been exhausted and bam...I’ve been back to scrolling just to escape, to try to feel better. But it’s only making things worse. Thank you for so eloquently and beautifully reminding me that it’s so worthwhile to push through the hard and create rather than consume.
