I admittedly didn’t 10000% but in to his book (solely for the reason that a lot of the examples were seemingly impossible for me to accomplish financially or time wise as I have no childcare and my husband is gone for lengthy amounts of time), butttt I will say that I DID love this interview! I too don’t love playing with my kids. 🥴 and as an ex-elementary school teacher myself, the direction schools choose to go sometimes is very disappointing.

Natasha, I am SO happy that you enjoyed the interview and I also feel not so alone that you don't love playing with your kids and that you're an ex-elementary school teacher! Solidarity, sister. Mike is such a likeable guy and I just loved chatting with him. I think that so many of the applications for fun that he mentioned here in this conversation were doable for people in lots of situations (family, financial, career, etc), which I appreciated!

That was an interesting interview. Made sense when you were discussing Fit Bits and how the final result of numbers of steps or hours of sleep can distract from enjoying the activity itself. As they say " Life is a journey, enjoy the ride". I try to focus on how much I 'm enjoying a moment even if it's just watching a chipmunk or admiring my flowers and garden. Playing with my grandchildren is at the top of my list, too! He was an inspiring guest and seems like a very thoughtful person.
